Manchester City host Real Madrid in the 2nd leg of last-16 of the Champions League. Having won the reverse fixture by 2-1, City hold the advantage in this match. This has not been a very successful season for City, they have come 2nd in the league, 18 points behind Liverpool. They were also unable to win The FA Cup as they were knocked out in the semi-final by Arsenal. They have been in fine scoring form since the break but have also lost against Chelsea, Southampton in the league, and against Arsenal in the cup.
